The Tennis Committee met on Friday, July 2, 2021 to finalize the rules and regulations for the courts.  The Tennis building will open on Thursday, July 8th after a thorough cleaning.  There are some tennis rackets and balls in the tennis building for those of you that just want to try out the sport.  Jarrod Epkey is scheduling introductory and beginner lessons along with lessons for those experienced tennis players that want to hone their game. The courts will open at 8 a.m. daily.  Ethan will be cleaning, sweeping and rolling the courts.  The courts will close from 12 noon to 1 p.m. for maintenance and then at 8:30 p.m.  The clay courts require additional care with watering, sweeping and rolling, so it is necessary to close the courts at times during the day.

  1. All members need to sign-in to the court logbook before playing. There will be a $7 guest fee for invited non-members using tennis facility.
  2. As a courtesy to other players and for the safety of our members the court area is to be occupied by players only.  Non-playing children and adults should be outside of the playing area.
  3. Tennis shoes and appropriate tennis attire must be worn. Shirts are required at all times (No denim, swimsuits, spike shoes, etc.).
  4. All children age 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult.
  5. All members are expected to sweep their courts after playing.
  6. Please keep the club facilities clean. Trash is to be disposed of in waste receptacles. Glass containers are not permitted on the courts. Care is to be taken with beverages on the courts and to be kept clear of playing areas.
  7. Courts are for the expressed purpose of playing or practicing tennis. Other use of the courts must be requested and approved in advance.
  8. No skates, skateboards, bikes or toys are permitted on the tennis courts.
The Clay courts will open up at 8 a.m. after the morning care routine.  The courts will then close daily from 12noon - 1:00pm and then at 8:30 p.m. for end of day maintenance.
  1. Players should not interrupt play or distract players on the other court for any reason including the following:
  • Retrieving balls during play of a game
  • Loud or continued talking or playing of music.
  • Entering or exiting the courts by walking across or behind other players
  1. Never walk across the courts while a lesson or play is active. Wait to walk across or behind the court as a courtesy when play is not active.

  3. Proper court manners will be observed at all times. Abusive language or conduct will not be tolerated.
